We try to ship our freshly-roasted coffee the day of the order or next day. Weekend orders usually ship on Monday. Most orders to USA Mainland addresses are received within four days of the order. Orders received on the weekend can take a day or two longer.
We do not offer a shipping time guarantee. We do not control what happens after we hand off packages to UPS. Recent events--COVID, labor shortages, and heavy shipping volumes--have resulted in occasional delays in some deliveries of an extra couple of days.
Shipping for multi-pound items is calculated such that each pound counts as an individual item.

We are proud of our Quality Control Team and make every effort to double check every shipment. We use quality packing materials and carefully prepare each carton. In the event that you do not receive exactly what you ordered or our products do not meet your expectations, please email our customer service team here. We will make every effort to assure your 100% satisfaction.

How does the Mountain Thunder Coffee Club work?
Receive your favorite freshly roasted 100% Kona coffee direct from our Roastery twice a month, once a month or once every two months via UPS air shipment direct from Kona, Hawaii.
You select how often you want to receive shipments. You select your favorite Mountain Thunder coffee. Tell us your preference … whole bean or ground, and your favorite roast.
We do all the rest.
And you save 10% on every shipment including the first one!
Coffee Club insider hints
Most of our Club Members have us ship in one-pound bags.
Why? … for example: if the order is two or more pounds for each shipment, only open one pound at a time, the unopened bags stay roastery fresh until you open them preserving that gourmet 100% Kona Coffee aroma and taste.
Most of our Club Members have us ship every two months.
Why? … Rather than having 12 monthly shipments per year, you have 6 shipments arriving every other month. The average savings will be about $100.00 in shipping, and this is on top of your 10% savings for joining the Mountain Thunder Coffee Club!

Native Hawaiian Māmaki Tea
The Māmaki plant is a shrub/tree native to the Hawaiian Islands, growing at elevations up to 6,000 feet. At Mountain Thunder, our Māmaki is grown and hand-picked on a USDA Certified organic farm here on the Big Island. The leaves are carefully dried over a wood stove to achieve the best flavor and health benefits.
Native Hawaiians brewed Māmaki as an herbal tea and believed it to be a general tonic with many medicinal benefits. It was consumed to improve overall physical and mental well-being, particularly for any digestive issues.
We now understand that Māmaki is rich in antioxidants and is believed to benefit high blood pressure. Because it is naturally caffeine free, it is often consumed in the evening just before bedtime.
Brewing hint: Some customers are brewing a second or even third batch of their Māmaki Tea using the same tea leaves over and over, just steeping then longer … give it a try and save some money!
Preparation Instructions: Māmaki can be enjoyed hot or cold. We recommend adding one tablespoon of crushed dried leaves to 3 cups of boiling water. Let the leaves steep for 15 minutes (or longer depending on your preference). The longer the leaves are boiled and the longer they are steeped, the more essential oils and flavors are released. Experiment a bit to find your ideal brewing method.
