Mamaki Tea
Mamaki is a shrub indigenous to the Big Island of Hawai’I and grows wild above 2,500 feet. Hawaiians have been
drinking it from the ancient times to purify body and soul. It is said to have medicinal properties to clean and
balance the blood system. It is very high in antioxidants, and also contains beta-carotene, calcium, magnesium,
potassium, and phosphorus. Mamaki tea does not contain caffeine.
How to Brew
1 tsp. per cup | Steep at least 10 minutes in hot water
Traditionally Hawaiians brewed as long as 30-60 minutes. Same leaves can be used several timesby adding more
water. The longer you steep, the sweeter it gets and stronger the beneficial content. Very delicious with lemon
grass.
Coffee Cherry Tea
Antioxidant superfruit from the Kona Coffee Cherry. It contains dried skins of the fruit to steep as tea. Coffee
fruit has been known to contain high ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) units, which means that it
is high in antioxidants. Contains caffeine.
How to Brew
1 tsp. per cup | Steep at least 10 minutes in hot water
The more you use or the longer you steep, the stronger the
flavor and beneficial content.
